We are a dynamic and fast-growing dental practice located in the heart of Kingston, Jamaica, seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Dental Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the dental field, as we offer full training with a pay rise upon completion. No previous experience is required!

Key Responsibilities:

 Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.

 Set up and breakdown operatory post-treatment.

 Take dental radiographs (x-rays).

 Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.

 Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling).

 Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.

 Perform office management tasks that often require the use of a personal computer.

 Communicate with patients and suppliers (e.g., scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, billing, and ordering supplies).

 Requirements:

 High school diploma or equivalent.

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 Ability to learn new tasks quickly.

 Willingness to be a cooperative and collaborative team member.

 No previous dental experience required!
